Context
blackZRH runs airport limousine transfers in Zurich. We built everything its customers see: the brand, the website, the booking system and the social media.
Challenge
On a transfer website that only takes requests, the customer enters a route and a date and gets a promise — we'll get back to you shortly. Then they're left with three unknowns: the price, whether a car is available, and when they'll hear back.
Meanwhile, another tab shows a competitor with a price on screen.
Idea
Make the website a transaction, not a form. Price on screen, booking confirmed, payment taken — in one visit.
What we made
- Logo and visual identity
- Website design and development — in four languages — English, German, French and Turkish
- Booking engine — one-way, hourly and round-trip, with fixed prices shown before booking
- Fleet and pricing
- Payments — Stripe and Twint
- Customer accounts — sign in, booking history
- Corporate accounts — consolidated monthly invoicing for hotels, embassies and businesses
- Destination pages — Zurich Airport to Davos, St. Moritz, Lucerne and more, built to be found in search
- Privacy by default — analytics only with consent; built for the Swiss nFADP and the GDPR
- Journal and ongoing social media

The detail that matters
In Switzerland, Twint isn't an alternative to cards — for many people it's the default. A card-only checkout would have looked fine and quietly lost bookings. No error message, no complaint; some people just wouldn't finish.
Which payment methods you support is a decision about which market you're selling to.
The other detail
European visitors notice what a site does before they've clicked anything. blackZRH loads with essential cookies only — analytics wait for consent. It's a legal requirement in Switzerland and the EU, and it's also a signal: this company handles your data the way it handles your booking.

Outcome
Today a blackZRH customer sees the price before booking, picks a car and pays — Twint or card — in the same visit. A company opens an account and gets one invoice a month. A site that takes bookings, not requests. We still run it: bookings, payments and social media.
